Valentin co-runs SKInnovation, a startup conference on skis that pulls together roughly a thousand founders, investors and operators every winter in the Alps. Years of shipping events on lean budgets and wrestling with clunky attendee tools shaped the product he wanted to exist, which is why Conferras looks the way it does.
On the side he leads a global AI collective out of Innsbruck, working with hackathon crews and early-stage teams that need to move fast and actually meet the right people.
When he's away from the laptop he's usually on a slope, chasing a wave, or plotting the next event.
Tammo

Tammo has spent years turning tiny volunteer teams into serious event machines. He helped scale M01N Startup Camp into one of Switzerland's largest startup gatherings, all with a crew small enough to share one table and zero paid staff.
Building events at that scale taught him where off-the-shelf tools break, so he started shipping his own: a hackathon platform first, an event networking app after that, and now Conferras.
He's collected startup competition wins since school, studied across five countries including a stint at Stanford, and has always ended up in roles that revolve around people, from football head coach to personal trainer to community builder for Lovable.
What we're hosting
Long before Conferras existed, we were the ones renting the venue and chasing the sponsors. These two events taught us most of what we know about running a room full of strangers.
